Memphis Trichotillomania Support Group
Run by a mom of a child who pulls, this is a new group open to all who are affected by trichotillomania; parents, children, adults.  The purpose of this group is to connect with other people affected by trich, to share information and strategies, and have periodic guest speakers who will share their knowledge and expertise. This group will meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month.

The Houston TTM support group

The Houston TTM support group generally takes place online. This online support group respects privacy and anonymity making any TTM topic welcomed. Please note that we occasionally meet for face-to-face meetings. These face-to-face meetings are informal gatherings which usually take place at a restaurant or in a park every three months or so. Participants are encouraged to bring a loved one to these meetings. Anyone, of any age, is welcome! Please sign up to our group via the link below. The Central Virginia TTM Support Group

Our group is open to all hair pullers and skin pickers in the Central Virginia area.  It is a free peer support group that meets in Richmond, Virginia.  Virginians outside of Richmond are welcome to join, too.

We have an email group to communicate upcoming activities related to the Support Group and also allow us to support one another through our individual TTM journey throughout the week.

Seattle

Seattle Area Professionally Assisted group for Trichotillomania

A monthly group is forming the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5pm. It is located 318 W GAler Street, Suite 201, Seattle, WA 98119. Cost of the Group is $50. per session. The group is open to adults who compulsively pull hair and are actively involved in an organized cognitive-behavioral therapy or self-help program (e.g., habit reversal training). Group size is limited to eight members.

Dr. Kosins is a licensed psychologist and Certified Group Therapist with 10 years experience treating compulsive hair pulling. He has been in private practice in Seattle since 1988, emphasizing cognitive behavioral therapy, group therapy, and treatment of anxiety disorders (including various OCD-spectrum conditions). He has facilitated numerous cognitive behavioral groups for OCD, panic, social phobia, depression, and other issues. He is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Washington Departments of Psychology and Psychiatry, and a member of the Trichotillomania Learning Center, the Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation, the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, and the Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy.
