The Trich Support Group
Support group for people with Trichotillomania, 18 years and older. We meet every other Wednesday 6:15 to 8:00 October thru May. The Trich Support Group provides a safe, comfortable and fun gathering for people to share their struggles and successes. Folks are encouraged to talk at their comfort level and to set goals if they wish. There is a great deal of information offered by participants from hairdressers to tools and strategies. Participants report a lessening of shame and an increase in self-esteem as they hear other accounts similar and different from their own. We usually share a pizza. The group is facilitated by Sally A. Allen, Psychologist and Dr. Judith Kolman.
