TLC Week at Hair Salons
Through National Trichotillomania Awareness Week, TLC looking for volunteers to assist in thecreation a nationwide network of hair salons and cosmetologists to add to our referral lists. Our goal is to raise awareness and educate hair stylists and cosmetologists about trichotillomania so that they can become a safe place to get a hair cut and also educate their clients about trich and related disorders.
If you would like to help educate hair stylists to be compassionate and sensitive to children and adults who suffer from trich, this is the project for you!
Sign Up to participate, and TLC will send you a packet of information for up to three salons. Each packet contains a letter to the salon (signed by TLC)and two brochures: About Trichotillomania and A Guide for Cosmotologists. All you need to do is forward each packet on to three salons of your choice!
